Deputado recebe demanda de vereador Txonto de Feliz Natal

O deputado federal Ságuas Moraes (PT) recebeu em Brasília na quarta-feira (25.04), o vereador de Feliz Natal, Txonto do Xingu, da etnia Ikpeng do médio Xingu. Também participou da reunião o vice-presidente da Associação Indígena Moygu Comunidade Ikpeng (AIMCI), Oporike.

O vereador Txonto, que já havia se reunido com o deputado no ano passado, reiterou o pedido de uma emenda individual ao Orçamento Geral da União (OGU), objetivando a construção de uma Casa de Apoio aos Índios para atender aos povos indígenas do Xingu, durante o período em que estiverem realizando suas atividades urbanas na sede do município.

Ságuas se colocou à disposição do vereador e ressaltou que no período de apresentação das emendas ao OGU, destinará os recursos para atendimento desse pleito. Segundo o deputado a construção da Casa de Apoio contribuirá significativamente para a melhoria da qualidade de vida das comunidades indígenas da região.
