Deputado recebe vereador e lideranças indígenas de Feliz Natal

Vereador Txonto Ikpeng é o primeiro legislador indígena eleito pelo município

O deputado federal Ságuas Moraes (PT) recebeu em Brasília na quarta-feira (25.10), overeador Txonto Txonto do Xingu, da etnia Ikpeng do médio Xingu. Também participaram da reunião lideranças indígenas do município de Feliz Natal, dentre eles: Napiku Talugu Txicão, presidente da Associação Indígena Moygu Comunidade Ikpeng (AIMCI), Managu Txicão, Maiua Meg Poanpo Txicão.

As lideranças indígenas reivindicaram do parlamentar a indicação de uma emenda individual ao Orçamento Geral da União 2018, com o propósito de viabilizar a construção de uma Casa de Apoio aos Índios para atender aos povos indígenas do Xingu, durante o período em que estão realizando suas atividades urbanas na sede do município.
